ETF Flows Recap

Spot crypto ETFs logged +$24.9M ↑ in net inflows in the most recent settled session, according to InflowScan data. Issuer reports for Wednesday's session have not yet been published, so the flow picture below reflects the last fully-settled tape.

The read is narrow. ARK Invest's ARKB did most of the work on the bitcoin side, while ether and solana products saw net-neutral-to-negative activity. That mix — a single bitcoin product carrying the print — is consistent with tactical rebalancing rather than a broad allocation push.

  • Top inflow: ARKB (ARK Invest) +$33.2M ↑
  • Top outflow: FETH (Fidelity) -$6.7M ↓
  • Second outflow: VSOL (VanEck) -$1.6M ↓

The FETH redemption on a session where bitcoin ETFs printed net positive points to issuer-level rotation within the BTC complex rather than a directional exit. VSOL's outflow is small in absolute terms but stands out against solana's strong price tape.

Asset Price Analysis

Bitcoin trades at $83,915 heading into Wednesday, up 0.3% over 24 hours and off 0.6% on the week. The month-over-month gain of 13.7% remains the standout figure — BTC has held above $80,000 through the back half of September, and the current tape is rangebound between roughly $82,500 support and $85,000 resistance.

Ether sits at $2,696.64, up 0.7% on the day but down 3.7% over seven days. The weekly underperformance versus bitcoin is the cleaner signal here, and it lines up with the modest FETH redemption in the flow tape.

Solana is the standout at $119.52, up 9.2% on the week and 15.6% on the month, outpacing both BTC and ETH. XRP trades at $1.51, up 1.6% on the day. The relative-strength picture — SOL and XRP leading, ETH lagging — has been the shape of the tape for most of September.

Stablecoin Flows

USDC supply contracted by -$293M ↓ over 24 hours to $74.6 billion, according to InflowScan data. USDT was essentially flat at $183.8 billion. The USDC drawdown is modest in the context of a $74B float but marks the second consecutive session of net contraction, suggesting some sidelined capital has been deployed rather than reloaded.

Outlook

Wednesday's issuer prints will settle overnight and land in Thursday's pre-market brief. The watch items for the session: whether ARKB's outsized share of the last flow print repeats or normalizes across the BTC complex, and whether FETH's redemption pattern extends given ether's 3.7% weekly drawdown.

On price, BTC's ability to hold the $82,500 handle keeps the September range intact; a break of $85,000 would put the month's high back in play. For ether, the $2,700 level is the line between consolidation and a deeper leg lower. Solana's momentum is the cleanest technical picture but also the most extended, with the 30-day gain now above 15%.

Stablecoin supply is the softer signal to track: two straight sessions of USDC contraction against a flat USDT print is worth monitoring for continuation, as sustained stablecoin drawdown historically coincides with reduced spot bid at the margin.
