Spot crypto ETFs shed $224.7 million in net outflows in Tuesday's settled session, with BlackRock's IBIT accounting for nearly all of the drag as issuer reports landed. According to InflowScan data, IBIT alone bled $205.9 million, while Ethereum products drew modest offsetting inflows led by BlackRock's ETHB and Fidelity's FETH.
Flow Tape
The tape was defined by concentrated bitcoin redemptions rather than broad-based exits. IBIT's $205.9 million outflow represented more than 90% of the day's net negative print, with Fidelity's FBTC extending the BTC-side pressure. Ethereum products ran the other direction, though at a fraction of the scale — insufficient to offset the bitcoin drawdown.
Trailing cumulative flows were not available at print, with several settling days still incomplete. The single-session pattern — BTC redemptions concentrated in the two largest issuers, ETH products absorbing modest bids — is consistent with product-level rotation rather than a wholesale risk-off shift, though a broader trend read will require the trailing tally to close out.
