ETF Flows

Spot crypto ETFs absorbed +$82.4M ↑ in Thursday's settled session, the most recent issuer tape available before Friday's open, according to InflowScan data. Friday's issuer reports are still settling and will be recapped in the next brief.

The intake was distributed across all three major asset buckets, with Solana products taking the top slot — a rotation pattern consistent with SOL's outperformance over the past month. Concentration was low: no single fund carried the tape.

  • BSOL (Bitwise, Solana): +$28.0M ↑
  • FETH (Fidelity, Ethereum): +$21.5M ↑
  • FBTC (Fidelity, Bitcoin): +$12.9M ↑

Outflows were minimal. WisdomTree's BTCW logged -$4.0M ↓, the only material redemption on the tape. That IBIT, ETHA, and the larger BlackRock complex did not dominate is itself a data point — Thursday's bid came from Fidelity and Bitwise, not the usual heavyweight.

Asset Price Analysis

Bitcoin trades at $84,583 heading into Friday's open, up 0.3% on the day and down 0.6% over the past week, but still holding a 13.7% gain over the trailing 30 days. Price has gone quiet in a tight range just below the mid-$80Ks, with the weekly change essentially flat.

Ethereum sits at $2,720.60, up 1.2% intraday but down 3.7% on the week — the weakest performer among the majors on a seven-day basis despite FETH pulling $21.5M of inflow Thursday. The divergence between fund demand and spot price suggests the ETF bid is being absorbed by other selling flow rather than translating into upside.

Solana is the standout at $121.11, up 3.5% on the day and 9.2% on the week. The 30-day print of +15.6% now leads the majors, and Thursday's $28M BSOL inflow points to the ETF channel confirming rather than lagging spot momentum. XRP added 4.9% to $1.61, extending its 30-day advance to 8.4%.

Stablecoin Flows

Stablecoin supply expanded meaningfully Thursday, according to InflowScan data. USDC added +$986M ↑ to reach $76.4B, and USDT grew +$236M ↑ to $183.7B — a combined $1.2B print. The pace of USDC issuance in particular is consistent with sidelined capital building rather than depleting, a backdrop that has historically preceded absorption of dips rather than acceleration of them.

Outlook

Friday's issuer flow tape is the next hard data point — whether BSOL's $28M print was a one-session rotation or the start of a Solana-ETF trend will show up in the Monday premarket. On price, Bitcoin's $84K handle is the near-term pivot: sustained trade below it would break the tight range that has held through the week, while a reclaim of $85K would put the September highs back in play.

Ethereum's seven-day underperformance despite steady FETH inflows is the standout tension in the tape. If the ETF bid persists through Friday's settled session and spot continues to lag, the divergence widens — a pattern historically associated with distribution rather than accumulation, though InflowScan data does not yet confirm which side is dominant.

Watch: Friday settled ETF flows (reported Monday premarket), BTC's $84K support, ETH's ability to reclaim $2,750, and whether the $1.2B stablecoin print carries into the weekend.
