ETF Flows Recap

Wednesday's settled session produced a flat print across spot crypto ETFs, with the full 12-fund bitcoin complex and all nine ether products reporting zero net creations or redemptions, according to InflowScan data. No fund logged material inflows or outflows large enough to top the leaderboard.

Coverage was uneven below the bitcoin and ether tapes. Five of eleven Solana ETFs reported by the settle window, with QSOL, SLON, SOLC, SOLM, SOLT and SOLZ still to publish. The nine-fund XRP complex — UXRP, XRPC, XRPI, XRPK, XRPM, XRPR, XRPT, XRPZ and XXRP — had not yet posted Wednesday figures at the time of this brief, so the SOL and XRP flow pictures should be treated as incomplete rather than genuinely zero.

A flat settled session at this stage of the tape is consistent with positioning rather than conviction on either side. It also breaks the pattern of one-way concentration that has defined much of the past month, when BlackRock's IBIT and Fidelity's FBTC drove the bulk of net creations against a backdrop of steady bitcoin appreciation.

Asset Price Analysis

Bitcoin trades at $63,477, unchanged on the day and down 0.6% on the week, though still up 13.7% over the last 30 sessions. The 30-day gain has done the work; the last week has been consolidation. Ether sits at $1,880, off 3.7% on the week and lagging bitcoin's monthly performance at just +3.7% over 30 days. The BTC/ETH cross has been widening, and Wednesday's flat ETF flow print offers no obvious catalyst to reverse it.

  • BTC: $63,477 · 24h 0.0% · 7d -0.6% ↓ · 30d +13.7% ↑
  • ETH: $1,880 · 24h 0.0% · 7d -3.7% ↓ · 30d +3.7% ↑
  • SOL: $75.65 · 7d +9.2% ↑ · 30d +15.6% ↑
  • XRP: $1.00 · 7d +1.7% ↑ · 30d +8.4% ↑

Solana is the standout on both weekly and monthly windows, up 9.2% and 15.6% respectively. Whether ETF flow data — once the missing six funds report — corroborates that price strength is the more useful question for Thursday's tape than the headline flat print.

Stablecoin Flows

USDC supply contracted by roughly $71 million over the last 24 hours to $72.1 billion, per InflowScan data, while USDT held effectively unchanged at $183.0 billion. The moves are small in absolute terms and closer to noise than signal, but they mark a second consecutive session without net stablecoin issuance — a pattern historically associated with sidelined capital waiting for direction rather than active deployment.

Outlook

The main data point to watch Thursday is the completion of Wednesday's ETF flow print as SOL and XRP issuers post. If Solana products show net creations consistent with the 9.2% weekly price move, it would tighten the flow-price relationship that has been loose across the altcoin ETF complex since launch. A weak or negative SOL flow reading against strong spot performance would suggest the rally is being carried by spot and perp positioning rather than fund-of-fund allocation.

For bitcoin, the levels to monitor are the $63,000 handle on the downside and $65,000 as the near-term ceiling that has capped rallies for most of the past week. Ether's $1,850 area has held on the weekly pullback so far; a break below would put the 30-day gain at risk. Friday brings the next full settled flow window, which should give a cleaner read on whether Wednesday's flat print was a pause or the start of a stall.
